The Embrace – Exterior

We are now in Lockdown 3, and a bit of human emotion and perhaps the need for friends and family to meet has come to the fore. This painting is broadly based on inverting the expulsion from the Garden of Eden depicted in many renaissance paintings. Enough of pain and shame, rather this posits a more positive outcome. The painting also recycles materials and mixes media to create colourful rendering, that I have termed ‘The Embrace’. This is the initial painting of two. Exterior and interior.
