Tree of Life #1

Serendipity is wonderful! Turning the corner in an alley in an old town in Crete, I was blown away! I was overcome by the colour and vibrancy of a large bougainvillea tree. The proximity to an old spiritual centre that had recently been reborn seemed to make this a special tree – a tree of life. This has resulted in a series of paintings reflecting this aspect of life, love and regeneration. It is a painting of my feelings.
